Herschel came to the shelter after his previous owner went to a nursing home and could no longer keep him. This poor boy is about 17 years old and just had his whole world completely rocked. Herschel has been pretty scared while at the shelter. Once you spend some time with him, he does warm up and loves the attention. We are looking to place him in a calm and quiet home. He seems like he would not have any issues with other animals or children, but we definitely recommend lower energy ones so that they do not stress him out. Herschel does not require any medication at this time. He does have cysts in his ears from a previous, untreated ear infection. He may require additional ear cleanings or treatments, but we did have his ears treated while in our care. This senior sweetheart is in need of a loving home and family!
