That’s the energy this litter brings. These six little girls came to us with their mama from a Central Valley shelter when they were just about a week old and are now just over 8 weeks old. Since arriving, they’ve been raised in a loving foster home, growing up surrounded by people, routine, and constant companionship. The result is a group of incredibly social, confident, and affectionate puppies who expect the world to be a friendly place. They are also truly tiny- not even 3 lbs! And they’re expected to stay very small as adults, making them easy companions who will happily fit into just about any home and, more importantly, your lap. A Day in the Life of the Feast Their days have an easy, predictable rhythm that makes them a joy to live with. Around 7:00am they wake up hungry and ready to start the day, tails wagging and eager for attention. Breakfast is a shared event, with everyone happily gathered around the same bowl. Afterward comes a full hour of playtime, full of wrestling, chasing, and general puppy chaos, before they all tumble into a well-earned nap. Favorite toys include cardboard boxes which have been transformed into tunnels, hideouts, and mountains! The pups love going in and out, pouncing on each other, and exploring. The rest of the day follows a steady pattern of eating, playing, and resting, with meals around 7:00am, 1:00pm, and 6:00pm, plus a bedtime snack. By 9:00–10:00pm they settle into their puppy pen for the night, where they sleep calmly, waking only occasionally for potty breaks. They are already using an astroturf area in their pen, which is a great foundation for future house training. Meet the Menu Andouille – The People Pleaser A latte-colored beauty with a slightly longer coat, Andouille is the first to greet you in the morning with a wagging tail and an eager expression. She is bright, attentive, and very focused on her people. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and curl up in your lap just as much as she enjoys running and playing with her sisters. Baby Potato – The Cotton Ball The tiniest of the group, Baby Potato looks like a fluffy little cotton ball. She may be small, but she can hold her own during playtime. She also has a thoughtful, independent side and can happily settle in with a toy. The moment you notice her, though, she is ready to come over and be your best friend. Corn on the Cob – The Easygoing One Corn is a soft, slightly longer-haired little lady with a gentle and adaptable nature. She loves to be held, enjoys a good game of tug, and is always happy to go along with whatever the group is doing. Sweet and easygoing, she fits right into any moment. Lobster – The Big Sister The largest of the litter and the most mature, Lobster is confident and affectionate. She happily hops up to meet your hand for pets and settles into laps with ease. Though her markings can give her a slightly serious look, she is full of joy and playfulness, and she’s already starting to let you know when she needs to go potty. Crawfish – The Thoughtful One Crawfish likes to take a moment to observe before jumping into something new, but once she joins in, she is just as playful and happy as the rest. She has a particularly sweet side and loves quiet time sitting in your lap. Shrimp – The Clown Shrimp is the brave, bouncy entertainer of the group. She springs from one end of the playpen to the other and zooms across the yard whenever she gets the chance. She approaches everything with enthusiasm and curiosity, often making everyone laugh with her slightly uncoordinated landings. She is fearless, playful, and always up for an adventure. The Takeaway These puppies are tiny, social, and beautifully raised, with a strong foundation of routine and positive early experiences. They are ready to bring their joyful, affectionate energy into homes of their own, where they can continue to grow, play, and be part of the family.
