Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $650 Meet Hulu: Your Loyal Little Shadow Hulu is a 3 year old, 13.6 lb Terrier mix with a soft heart, a curious spirit, and a strong devotion to “her person.” She came to the rescue alongside her buddy Netflix when their previous owners could no longer care for them, and she’s been quietly settling into home life ever since. Daily Life & Routine Hulu has adapted nicely to a consistent routine. Her day starts around 7am with breakfast, followed by a mix of relaxing and keeping a close eye on her favorite human. She enjoys walks around 11am and 3pm when the weather is cool, or shorter backyard potty breaks on warmer days, with a longer walk in the evening around 6pm. She’s happy to follow the flow of the household and has proven to be an easy companion in day-to-day life. Personality & Temperament At her core, Hulu is a gentle, affectionate dog who bonds deeply with one person. She loves nothing more than curling up next to you on the couch— or better yet, in your lap— and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near. While she was quite nervous when she first arrived, she’s already making progress and beginning to show her sweet, loving nature. She can still be a bit unsure, especially around men and new people, but she’s observant and thoughtful rather than reactive. With time, patience, and a calm environment, she continues to gain confidence and trust. Social Life Hulu takes cues from the dogs around her and has been learning by following her foster sibling, Beanie. While they may not be best friends, they coexist peacefully. Hulu enjoys walks and likes to quietly sniff passing people, though she can be a bit hesitant when meeting other dogs. Training & Manners Hulu is both housetrained and crate trained, and she settles comfortably in her crate. She’s well-behaved in the home and yard— no digging or destructive habits outside. She walks nicely on leash and isn’t reactive to squirrels or other dogs. She will alert you when someone comes to the door, making her a surprisingly good little watchdog. One quirk to note: Hulu has a talent for shredding soft items in her crate (towels beware!), so she does best without bedding at night. She may also let out a brief, high-pitched squeak if she can’t get to you, but she settles quickly. Fun & Quirks Hulu has a playful, slightly mischievous side that comes out in the best way— she loves sneaking off with Beanie’s toys, zooming around the room triumphantly, then casually dropping them like nothing happened. She also enjoys chewing on yak cheese and having her own quiet entertainment. The Perfect Home for Hulu Hulu would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can build trust at her own pace.
