Red
AvailableRed is a 1 year and 1 month old, spayed female who comes from a shepherd mix background and sports a rich red chestnut medium coat. About Red
Red arrived with her siblings after a tough start, but she’s settling in and growing braver every day. Initially shy, Red now shows curiosity when visitors arrive and will come up to check things out. The staff and volunteers have spent time helping her blossom, and she’s made great strides in her confidence and social skills. Time in the play yard, especially with her sister, helps Red open up and shed her nerves. She’s young and eager for routine, consistency, and a new environment to call her own. Red will need patient adopters who understand she’s still learning. Basic training—including leash and potty work—will be key. She responds well to gentle encouragement and likes to observe before joining in. Red gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, so she’d fit into many family situations as long as her new home goes at her pace. Whoever gives her a chance will discover just how accepting and kind she can be. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
