Sadie
AvailableSadie is a young, large Labrador Retriever/mixed breed female in Albuquerque, NM. She is not yet spayed and is currently playful and friendly. Sadie is growing fast and needs some guidance, but she’s eager to learn and socialize.
About Sadie
At just 10 months old, Sadie is fully leaning into her awkward, leggy teen phase. She’s got those comedic, oversized paws and a complete lack of spatial awareness, which only adds to her charm. Busy shelter kennels have her a bit overwhelmed, and she can seem reserved at first. Give her a break from the chaos, though, and she unwinds fast—her leash manners improve right away, like a kid finally getting some breathing room after a noisy day. Once outside, Sadie comes alive. She dashes around, proudly hoarding toys, and finds any excuse to make a splash in the wading pool. Her puppy energy is relentless, and she tackles every new game with enthusiasm. She's definitely still learning the ropes but is food-motivated and eager to please, making her a quick study for basic training. While she may be shy with new people or in unfamiliar settings, it doesn’t take long for her sweet, goofy side to shine through—and when it does, she’s all about leaning in for affection. Sadie gets along with other dogs and has shown her friendly side in group play. A meet-and-greet with any potential canine housemates makes sense to ensure a good match. If you want a lovable Labrador mix with a talent for keeping you entertained (and possibly a future pro at pool parties), Sadie in Albuquerque is ready for a new adventure. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
