About Merlot
Merlot is a 9-month-old spayed female, born at the end of August 2025, and she's current on all her vaccinations. Draped in a smoky gray coat with silvery undertones and a long, fluffy tail, she’s easy on the eyes and lovely in the light. Merlot's coloring shifts gently from darker along her back and tail to a softer, misty gray below, giving her a subtle shimmer when she moves. She’s a sweet, playful cat who finds comfort in quiet spaces and cozy window seats, where she can birdwatch and nap at her leisure. Once she settles in, Merlot comes out of her shell—showing her playful side and even sharing her happy, rumbling purr with those she trusts. While she isn’t one for being picked up, she’ll gladly curl up by your side when she feels safe. She has a soft meow and a loud purr that speaks volumes when she’s content. Merlot thrives with other cats and would be happiest with a feline friend, ideally her brother Mocha. With people, she’s shy at first and appreciates a calm touch and gentle approach. She’d do best in a quieter home with adults or older, cat-savvy kids who understand her need for patience. She’s ready to bring her gentle, rewarding companionship to a home willing to let her blossom on her terms. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
