About Kabocha
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Kabocha, a copper-eyed miracle who truly embodies the spirit of resilience and love. Surrendered as an emergency medical case just last Thanksgiving Eve, Kabocha has faced and overcome numerous challenges, bravely enduring both a liver shunt surgery and an emergency PU procedure due to a urinary blockage. Despite these hurdles, his vibrant personality and zest for life have shone through every step of the way. Today, Kabocha is thriving—off all medications, feeling fantastic, and only possibly needing prescription food in the future. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm disease. Every person who meets him is greeted like an old friend—he is friendly, outgoing, and loves to snuggle, but isn’t without a spicy, fighter’s edge that helped him defeat the odds. A gentle and loving companion, Kabocha is good with dogs, cats, and children, though he appreciates slow introductions with other pets. His survivor story only makes his affectionate cuddles and cheerful personality even more heartwarming. Now, he is ready to find a forever family who will cherish him just as fiercely as he cherishes life and love. Ready to open your heart to this survivor and star? Come meet Kabocha and see for yourself the love and joy he brings. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
