About Valor
Valor is a 7-year-old Lab mix who landed at the shelter after his owner passed away, and he’s trying to find his footing in a new chapter. Even though he’s officially a senior, Valor has energy to spare and a spirited side that comes out once he feels comfortable. He prefers being around people and immediately perks up when someone offers attention—he makes those moments count. While Valor does have some allergies and must stick to a fish-protein diet, it’s not hard to manage, but his new family will need to keep him on the right food for him to thrive. Otherwise, he’s just a straightforward, good-natured guy looking for security and affection. His foster or adoptive home should be prepared for a Lab personality who enjoys social time as much as he does naps. House training is said to be present, but with shelter transitions, there may still be an adjustment period. Valor is settling in and the team is still learning some of his quirks, but what’s clear is he’s eager for a home that can bring routine and love. Give him the second chance he deserves.
