About Geordie
Geordie and his sister Emmy are a lovely pair of young cats who started life outside and have grown into a bonded duo that relies on each other for comfort and companionship. Since being rescued, they've been learning that indoor living is actually pretty great. Geordie, the shyer of the two, kept watch over Emmy when she battled FIP, never leaving her side and offering his quiet strength as she recovered. Now that Emmy is healthy again, the siblings are ready for their own home, but only as a team—they are truly inseparable. Emmy has blossomed into a lively, affectionate cat who likes to keep a close eye on her people and hasn't lost her playful streak. Geordie is more reserved, charming everyone with his handsome looks and gentle nature, especially when he gets those big "kitten eyes" for toy time or tasty treats. He’ll warm up over time, especially in the hands of someone with cat experience who can help both kitties settle in at their own pace. Both are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and they get along with other cats. Their current foster is happy to schedule home visits to meet this sweet pair in Fairfax, VA. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
