About Frankie
Meet Frankie—a gentle, long-haired Labradoodle around 4 years old looking for her fresh start in Batavia, OH. Found fending for herself, Frankie has faced a lot, but she’s resilient and ready for a home where she can finally relax. She tested positive for Lyme disease, which means she’ll need regular prevention and yearly heartworm tests, but flare ups are rare and easily treated with antibiotics. Frankie loves people and other animals, getting along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children. She’s housebroken and crate trained. If you’re looking for a low-key companion, Frankie is definitely more of a couch potato—she lives for snuggles and cozy time. She’s still figuring out what playtime and leash walks are all about, so some patience and gentle encouragement will help her come out of her shell. To help her adjust, her adoption includes four free training sessions donated by Misfits Pet Spa Boarding and Training. Her coat requires daily brushing at home and professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling good. She will be spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, and microchipped before heading home. Frankie has been through a rough patch but still has a lot of love left to give. Your quiet lap could be her new haven. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
