Meet Trixie -- your new shotgun partner has officially arrived. Trixie is a young Boxer/Australian Shepherd mix, just a little over a year old, who came to us as an owner surrender. She's a sweet, social girl who made quite the first impression... before she was even fully in the car, she was already handing out kisses like we'd known each other forever. She's one of those dogs who doesn't overthink things. New place? New people? Great, let's be friends. Trixie has a naturally happy, easygoing personality and doesn't seem to know a stranger. She enjoys playtime and has that youthful energy you'd expect at her age, but she also settles in nicely and just enjoys being near her people. We're still learning more about her every day, but so far she's showing us all the makings of a really wonderful companion. She's affectionate, eager to connect, and seems like she'll fit well into a home that's ready to include her in day-to-day life. Trixie would do best with a family who has the time to continue guiding her as she learns and plenty of exercise -- giving her the structure, consistency, and attention that every young dog needs to thrive. Adoption fee: $200 This includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, negative heartworm test, heartworm prevention, and microchip (registered by us).
