About Penelopezadie

Penelope is a sweet 2-year-old tricolor beagle with a gentle spirit and a curious nose that's always ready for her next adventure. She came to the shelter as a stray, so there's still a lot we're learning about her past--but what we do know is that she's already showing signs of being a loving and friendly companion. While we're unsure how Penelope does with cats or children, she has shown promising social behavior. Through a fence, she interacted beautifully with a larger dog--wagging her tail and even giving a few friendly nose licks. It's clear she has a kind and playful nature that could blossom even more in the right home. Because her background is unknown, we can't say for certain if she's house or crate trained, but with patience and consistency, she has all the potential to learn quickly and thrive. Penelope has received her first round of vaccines, along with flea and tick treatment and a dewormer. Her adopters will need to continue her vaccination schedule and routine care with their veterinarian to keep her happy and healthy. She will also need to remain with the shelter until her spay procedure is completed, but she is available to be adopted in the meantime. Her adoption fee is $115.50 plus tax. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love, Penelope might just be your perfect match.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have.
