Jesse enjoys lap time but is just as happy staying nearby, watching everything going on—and he’s quite the talker, always ready to share his thoughts! Jesse is playful and active, loving to run, jump, bat toys around, and even splash in his water dish. He brings a joyful, entertaining energy and will keep you smiling with his antics. He gets along well with other cats, but due to his FIV+ status, it’s safest for him to live with only other FIV+ cats. He would also do just fine as a solo cat as long as he gets plenty of love and attention. Jesse has tested FIV+, but it simply means his immune system may need a little extra support. Cats with FIV often live long, happy, normal lives with routine vet care and an indoor-only lifestyle. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, not through sharing space, food, or affection, making everyday life with him easy and low-stress.
