About Brookie Cookie The Full

It doesn’t take long to fall for Brookie Cookie, she has that kind of charm. The moment you meet her, those big, soulful brown eyes pull you right in, and before you know it, you’re completely smitten. Then you notice her adorable little satellite ears, always perked and taking in the world around her, giving her the sweetest, most expressive look. She has this quiet, gentle charm about her that just sneaks up on you in the best way. Nothing loud or over-the-top, just soft, sincere sweetness that makes you feel instantly connected to her. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to try too hard to be special… she just is. Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet girl: https://youtu.be/ywAg5fh4Hw0?si=Y37j0A3xO9UO2TGM Brookie Cookie is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 36 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We do know that Brookie is as sweet as they come and has the gentlest soul. This little lady loves to love and once she does, it’s game over! Next thing you know, you have a bestie to explore with, a snuggly princess to binge watch your favorite show with, and the sole reason why your camera roll will always be full. Though Brookie can be a little shy at first with new people and in new environments, it does not take long for her to open up. Within minutes, she’s giving you all the kisses and snuggling so close to you. She has been around kids as young as 7 years old and her gentle nature showed with small kids as well. While she was tolerant of the occasional squeal and quick movements, we do believe that Brookie would be happiest in a home with slightly older kids to match her calm, gentle nature. Brookie is very dog friendly and makes friends everywhere she goes. She has been in multiple play groups with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and she has the time of her life. She has a more gentle play style and loves to romp around with the other dogs, occasionally engaging in a gentle wrestling match, and then enjoying those calmer moments as well. One of her favorite games to play is chase — she loves running as fast as she can and enjoys when her doggy friends are running alongside her. Brookie is the type of dog that would thrive in a multi-dog household with at least 2 other dogs in the home, or she could thrive as your one and only as well. Brookie also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Brookie has a perfectly balanced energy, making her a great companion to take with you on leisurely walks throughout the neighborhood and then snuggle with you on the couch after. She walks well on a leash and hardly ever pulls. Brookie is treat motivated and she already knows how to sit. She is also crate trained and potty trained as well. She really is a gentle, perfect little lady. Brookie has the potential to do great in an apartment in a residential area or in a home with a backyard in a residential area. The biggest factor for both would be that the surrounding areas are not located in the heart of a city with all of the noises that come with city life. We are willing to test Brookie Cookie with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen. Just let us know.
