Stairs are still a work in progress (up is easier than down!), but Nico is an eager learner, especially with treats and positive reinforcement. House training is ongoing, and he's made impressive strides—he's been accident-free for several days and understands to do his business outside when taken regularly. This friendly boy enjoys the company of other small dogs and would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can have a reliable canine companion and people who are home often. Because of his tiny size and gentle personality, an adults-only home is preferred, though homes with children over ten who are experienced with small dogs may be considered. Nico also loves car rides and travels well with a secure harness and blanket. He is healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, though his compact build and adorable smooshed face mean he occasionally snores and needs to be protected from heat.
