About Hazel

Sweeter than a spring breeze, this Hazel is looking for a place where she can lay down some roots. Hazel is a one-and-a-half year old kitty that was originally brought in to be "fixed" through SNIPSA’s Feral Cat Community Program. Turns out–she was already spayed, and just had a bit of extra weight around the middle! Hazel is now on a little diet in foster care, and she is seeking a forever family that can give her the continued care she deserves. It won’t take much to keep this fluffball happy: She is relatively lowkey, she eats well, she doesn’t seem to mind other animals, and she’s a cuddle bug by nature. That said, she is FIV*-positive, (*Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), meaning she cannot be housed with "normal" cats. Dogs or other FIV-positive cats are totally fine! FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives with proper care, often having a near-normal life expectancy. So, will you be-leaf in a girl like Hazel? Give her the opportunity to thrive with you, and she’ll bring a grounded, loving energy that will keep you centered for years to come.
