About Ollie
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Mr. Ollie, truly the happiest boy around! Ollie is a 10-year-old Beagle who arrived at the SPCA of Hancock County alongside his friend Hank. Despite spending years tethered outdoors, Ollie has embraced indoor life with impressive speed—he's already house trained and picking up new commands quickly. While he’s open to making new canine friends, Ollie appreciates being fed separately, as he arrived quite thin and deserves peace of mind at mealtimes. Though his experience with kids and cats is unknown, he's willing to give it a try if you are! Ollie does have special medical needs; he is epileptic and takes Phenobarbital orally twice a day to stay healthy and seizure-free. This medication is easy to give and affordable. During his neuter procedure, a testicular tumor was found. Fortunately, most such tumors are considered cured through neutering, so Ollie is thriving and energetic. Despite being a senior, he’s full of vitality and would be delighted to share his golden years with a loving family—especially one that has plenty of stuffy toys for him! If you have any questions about his care, the SPCA-HC team is ready to help you learn more about this special guy. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
