About Minnie
Minnie is a one-year-old Beagle mix who brings a great mix of sweetness and readiness. She settled into foster quickly and learned house routines fast; she’s had just one accident indoors so far. Minnie spends her downtime curled up on her dog bed but would rather be snuggled close by you in bed. She’s excellent on a leash and a calm, steady rider in the car. For play, she’ll chase after tennis balls or soccer balls and happily brings them back—though she is gentle and never destroys soft toys. She’s got a calm vibe but enjoys fetch and short bursts of play, making her well suited for a medium-energy household. Minnie handles plush toy chewing with restraint. She’s yet to master stairs, so a home without too many steps, or a family willing to carry her up, would be ideal. She does well with other dogs and coexists peacefully with cats, simply sniffing and moving on with no interest in chasing. Minnie currently lives in Brunswick, ME with her foster.
