Aaliyah was struck by a car before she arrived, and while her sweet face has healed and she's doing well, her story reminds us just how much she deserves comfort, love, and safety for the rest of her days. #Aaliyah is completely crate trained, but she cries softly in her crate because all she really wants is to be close to people. Human affection is her favorite thing in the world. When she gets anxious, we offer her a cheese bone to help her settle — but what she truly needs is a home where she doesn't have to feel alone anymore. Despite everything she has endured, Aaliyah is pure gentleness.
