About Dahlia
Dahlia landed in a shelter when she didnât expect to, but sheâs never lost her cheerful spirit or her hope for better days. The volunteers see something special in her and often say she must have known kindness beforeâshe has gentle manners and a way of quietly leaning in for affection that makes it hard not to fall for her. At about 3 to 4 years old, Dahlia brings just the right balance of calm, sweetness, and affectionate energy, well past any wild puppy stage. She wants to be with her person, to feel safe, and to offer all the love she has left to give. You might notice Dahliaâs unusual gait; itâs from an old fracture that healed on its own, leaving her with a limp. The vet cleared herâsheâs not in pain, it just makes her walk a bit differently. It doesnât slow her down, though, or keep her from enjoying life and loving the people around her. For Dahlia, her little difference is just one more detail that makes her unique. She isnât looking for perfectionâjust someone willing to truly see her and say she belongs with them. If youâre searching for a genuinely loving, gentle companion who needs a soft place to land as much as you do, Dahlia could be the answer. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
