Hi friends… it’s me, #Dahlia I didn’t expect to end up in a full shelter, but here I am… still smiling, still loving, still hoping someone sees me. The volunteers keep saying the same thing about me… “someone was kind to her before.” And I believe that too. I have manners, I’m gentle, and I just melt into you when you give me attention. I know what it means to be loved… I just need to find it again. I’m about 3–4 years old, so I’m past all that wild puppy chaos. I’m the perfect mix of calm, sweet, and affectionate. The kind of girl who just wants to be near her person and feel safe again. You might notice I have a little limp… At first, everyone was worried I was hurt, but the vet checked me out and said it’s just an old fracture that healed on its own. It’s calloused over now, and while I’ll always walk a little different, it doesn’t stop me from loving life or loving you. It’s just a tiny part of my story… not who I am. Honestly… it just makes me a little more special I don’t need perfect. I don’t need fancy.
