Lingo is a mixed breed, blending Terrier and Pit Bull Terrier, and she’s a young adult female at about 1 year and 7 months old. She’s medium-sized with a short black coat and currently lives in Homestead, FL. Lingo is fully house trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her loving and calm personality shines brightest when she’s indoors with her trusted people.

About Lingo

Lingo showed up one day in a local park, alone and clearly in need. With skinny sides and scars on her face, it’s hard to tell what she went through, but it’s obvious nobody was looking out for her. After all that, she’s still nothing but warmth to people—gentle every time, craving affection more than food, head on your lap, quiet and soft. She’s fully house trained, barely a peep in the house, and she can’t resist a toy (though sometimes they don’t last long). Catch her in a fit of the zoomies and you’ll get a glimpse of how good life could be for her. It’s important to note: Lingo needs to be the only dog in the home and can’t be around cats or small animals. She’s shown no interest in the mini pig at her foster’s, but for most pets, she just isn’t compatible. If you have a peaceful place, a fenced yard, and no other animals, she could be the devoted, snuggling friend you’ve been searching for. Feel her trust settle in slow and easy.
