About Captain
Captain is a gentle older soul who carries himself with quiet dignity, even after enduring so much. He was found abandoned in a rural field, dragged along by his own leash, his things tossed around him. Though his coat and body were neglected, Captain's kindness never faded. He now lives in a foster home with several dogs and even a mini pig. He doesn’t seek attention from the other animals, prefers having his own space, and has absolutely no aggression—just calm coexistence. He’s flexible, happy with or without other pets in the house. Walks are a highlight for him, though he pulls a bit at first out of excitement, but it’s easy to handle. Indoors, Captain is well-mannered, non-destructive, and perfectly house trained. He can be left alone for long periods without any trouble. Meal times light him up, and he’s always ready for a treat. He moves carefully, sometimes favoring his back legs when he rises, so a gentle routine and joint support will go a long way. Captain would thrive in a peaceful, calm home that lets him keep a steady routine. As a Libra, he brings a sense of balance and serenity with him. Senior dogs like Captain are worth every bit of care you can offer. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
