Once he feels comfortable, he’s affectionate, loving, and happiest just being close to his people — whether it’s taking a walk, playing fetch, or sitting together on a bench enjoying the day. He loves to play with his toys, roll in the grass, and snuggle up in his blankets, which always make him feel safe. Chip is dog-social, but because he can be nervous, he’ll do best as the only pet in a calm home with no young kids. Chip came from a home, and the shelter has been confusing and overwhelming for him. He’s ready to find a patient, understanding adopter who will give him time to trust, open up, and remember what it feels like to be loved and secure again.
