About Bella
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Bella, a precious 5-year-old brown Dachshund who is looking for a loving new home after the loss of her owner. Having spent her whole life with her family, Bella is now hoping to find stability with someone who will welcome her with open arms. She has lived harmoniously with other dogs, including her own puppies and other Dachshund/Jack Russell mixes, and has experience being around children without any issues. Bella is a spayed female described as gentle and non-destructive, who enjoys being part of the family dynamic. She hasn’t had formal obedience training and will need a patient adopter willing to help her adjust and learn at her own pace. While she is not fully housebroken, she is likely to improve with a consistent routine. Bella does have a bit of a protective streak when it comes to unfamiliar dogs entering her yard and will need a secure yard, as she has shown some tendency to try slipping out of fencing. She has never bitten anyone. Her current diet consists of Ol' Roy dog food, and her previous vet was Dr. Roberts at Small Animal Clinic. Though she is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, her heartworm prevention and full vaccine status may need updating with a new vet. Born on November 9, 2020, Bella is a Scorpio—known for their loyalty and devotion. This sweet girl truly deserves another chance at a loving home after all she has been through. Please note, this is a courtesy post and Bella is not in the direct care of Tired Dog Rescue, but her story is being shared to help her find a safe landing. Help Bella start her new chapter—she's waiting for someone just like you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
