About Ziggy

Meet Ziggy. This girl is a stunning piebald Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who found her way to our rescue after a court case brought her to an overcrowded shelter. At 2 years old and about 19 pounds, Ziggy is friendly with dogs of all sizes and adores children. She thrives in doggy daycare, loves splashing around in the swimming pool, and enjoys playtime with her furry friends. While she has plenty of energy, she isn’t overly hyper and plays well with toys. Ziggy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Wags and Whiskers, the rescue caring for her, operates with an all-volunteer team. They emphasize that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications are welcome anytime. Each dog comes with a $195 adoption fee that covers essential veterinary care. Please allow some time for responses to inquiries and applications.
