All dogs adopted through Troy Animal Rescue Project are thoroughly cared for before being welcomed into a new family. You can rest assured that Agnes will arrive spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and protected with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Regular deworming is part of the routine to keep her healthy and happy. The rescue makes the process as smooth as possible, including a simple adoption application, vet reference, and a virtual home visit. If you are in a rental property or have a previous pet, just gather your vet or lease documentation to help the approval go quickly. Once everything checks out and you’ve had a chance to meet Agnes in person, she’ll be set for one last vet visit to ensure she’s perfectly healthy before heading home with you. Appointments to meet pets are set up with the availability of the team and can even be scheduled on weekends or after work. While the rescue operates by appointment only, they are always ready to answer your questions or guide you through the process and ensure a happy match with Agnes.
