About Bea
Bea is a 2-and-a-half-year-old Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a dash of super mutt and Terrier thrown in. Weighing in at about 65 pounds, she’s got a warm brown and red coat and plenty of personality once she decides you’re a friend. Bea is a loyal companion but chooses her humans thoughtfully. Once she’s comfortable, the belly rubs, kisses, and paw-taps for attention start. She’s affectionate, loves walks, and has learned how to ride calmly in the car—no whining. Neighborhood strolls are her favorite, especially since making new dog friends comes easily now, no matter their age or size. She thrives when there’s another playful dog around to do zoomies with; if she’s alone, you’ll find her lounging instead. Bea is house trained and spends nights in her crate (always with the gate open), sometimes sneaking off to nap or hide out in the bathroom—she actually shuts the door herself. Afternoons might find her curled up on the couch for a cuddle. She’ll stick by your side when it’s windy and loud noises make her uneasy, but inside she settles quickly. With time and patience, Bea becomes a loving, gentle, and playful companion. Born July 16, she’s a classic Cancer—loyal, sensitive, and secretly tough. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
