She is just starting to explore the world around her, showing all the bright-eyed wonder and playfulness you would expect from a young American Shorthair mix. With her beautiful black and white tuxedo markings and medium-length, plush coat, River is sure to charm anyone she meets. Whether you live nearby or are coming from farther away, everyone is welcome to meet River and adopt from the shelter. While no holds can be placed, adoption begins at 8:00 on the day she becomes available, operating on a first come, first served basis—so be sure to arrive early. If you’re out of town, plan ahead as adopters are responsible for transportation. Rescues have special requirements and a separate start time. This could be the start of something paw-some.
