About Pixie

Pixie is a female mixed Pit Bull Terrier, about a year and a half old, looking for a real forever home after being rescued from tough beginnings. Right now, she waits calmly and quietly in her kennel at the shelter, never barking, never showing any aggression to people. There’s a patient, gentle side to Pixie—she politely waits her turn for food, play, and a chance to go outside. Though she’s hesitant to return to her kennel (not wanting to be alone), once given love and attention she relaxes and shows just how affectionate she can be. Pixie does best as the only dog in the household, but she’s good with children and would make an excellent emotional support companion. If you’re seeking a loyal, loving friend, Pixie’s ready for a family that will give her a fresh start. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
