About Russell
Russell is a sweet, handsome young Jack Russell mix who came to New York from Puerto Rico. At about six months old and weighing around 20 pounds, he’s crate trained, house trained, and already neutered. Russell gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for an active family or a home with other pets. Although initially shy, he warms up quickly—offering a treat or a bit of mozzarella cheese makes all the difference. Once comfortable, he enjoys being petted and pampered. Russell does best in homes that provide plenty of social interaction, especially with other dogs. He isn’t leash trained yet, so he’ll need some help on walks. With a patient approach and regular opportunities to play and socialize, Russell blossoms. He’s current on all age-appropriate vaccines, rabies vax included, and is microchipped.
