About Marisol Vera
Marisol Vera came into rescue with her siblings, but one by one they all found homes while she remained, a bit overlooked—likely because of the old superstitions about black cats. Now she’s the last of the bunch, waiting patiently in Hemet, CA for a family who’ll appreciate her lively spirit and subtle affection. She has an independent streak; not a fan of being picked up, she prefers exploring on her own terms and will happily entertain herself with toys or sunbeams. She isn’t a lap cat on demand, but when Marisol wants attention, she’s all in with a loving, sassy twist. Marisol is confident but sweet, a cat who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about it—especially when it’s mealtime. She gets along well with other cats, especially males, and would do well with a calm feline brother or as an only cat. She hasn’t had experience with dogs or children, so a quieter home suits her best. Marisol likes her space but makes up for it with affectionate moments when she feels at ease. She is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. At just over 3 years old, she’s still playful but settled, with plenty of life ahead. Fun fact: With an October 15th birthday, Marisol is a Libra—no wonder she seeks balance and harmony in her home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
