About Cheerio
Watch out, world—Cheerio is on the move! At just under 2 years old, Cheerio has all the enthusiasm and energy of a young Boxer. She’s the queen of cuddles and very much believes naps are best when shared. Expect plenty of hijinks—she’s a goofball at heart, quick to entertain and eager for games of fetch. Cheerio settled in fast to her foster home after being rescued from an overcrowded shelter, and she clearly loves being part of a family setting. She builds bonds quickly, warming up after a brief moment of caution, and repays kindness with slobbery kisses. Cheerio has picked up some basic manners (she knows sit and down) but still needs more guidance to fine-tune those puppyish impulses. She gets along well with other large dogs and could happily join another playful pup, but she’d also thrive as the only dog soaking up all the attention. She finds cats awfully tempting but has shown she can coexist with dog-savvy cats if introductions are handled thoughtfully. Cheerio is house trained and does best if someone can be home part-time; she tolerates her crate for short periods but prefers a human nearby. Families with children 10 and over should find her a good fit, given her playful antics. Cheerio is a joy to have around, ready for new adventures and plenty of love. Start your journey together!
