About Sammy
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Sammy! This stunning 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian and German Shepherd mix is the ideal combination of independence and affection. Sammy is a people-focused, adventure-seeking pup who loves nothing more than basking in the sun outdoors. She’s incredibly smart—she even knows how to sit—and comes with a charming (and sometimes stubborn) personality. While she knows the rules, she doesn’t always feel the need to follow them (classic!) Sammy would shine as the only dog in her new home, especially somewhere with a fenced yard where she can freely roam and unwind. She’s always ready for a swim, and just as enthusiastic about cuddle time. However, she prefers not to share her home with canine siblings. Given her temperament and her impressive mix of Livestock Guardian Dog breeds, her ideal adopter should have previous experience with similar breeds. Sammy is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to meet her best friend—could that be you? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
