Daisy Jane
AvailableDaisy Jane is a young, medium-sized female Labrador Retriever/mixed breed living in New Orleans, LA. She has been spayed. She’s had a rough start but is eager to find a calm and loving home that understands what she’s been through and is ready to give her the second chance she deserves.
About Daisy Jane
Daisy Jane’s barely two years old, but life has already left its marks on her. Found wandering alone, her old family turned their back on her the moment she needed them most. She’s a black lab mix, which means she gets passed over more than her fair share—folks often overlook dogs like her when scanning the shelter aisles. It’s not fair, because Daisy’s the kind of dog who thrives on connection and long walks. She bonds well with volunteers and soaks up every bit of company, but you’ll need some patience and gentleness as she builds up trust again. Daisy Jane would do best in a calm, stable setting—preferably with adults or older kids who understand that nervous dogs need space and predictability. If you’re someone who knows how to let a scared soul come out on her own terms, Daisy’s ready to be your loyal shadow. She isn’t broken—she’s rediscovering what it means to feel safe and wanted. She just needs one steady person, or family, to show her that being chosen feels a whole lot different than being left behind. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
