Once she forms a bond with you, she’ll be eager to participate in any activity together—be it going for walks, hiking, or simply unwinding at home. Smart and attentive, Willow already has learned a variety of obedience commands and is both crate-trained and house-trained. She’s known for her love of fetch, enthusiasm for outdoor adventures, and appreciation for affection (especially back scratches!). With a confident and experienced handler, Willow walks nicely on leash and has shown impressive progress in her foster home. Because she sometimes feels anxious around other dogs while out on leash, an adopter committed to continuing her training and building confidence would be ideal. To support her success, the rescue will sponsor a professional training session for Willow and her new family. Willow would flourish in an adult-only household (or with kids 13+) and will likely do best as either the only pet or with carefully matched canine companions introduced slowly. She is currently being fostered in Santa Clarita, and transport can be arranged for the right family. This could be the start of something paw-some.
