About Duncan
Duncan is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas, and his adoption fee covers transportation. When rescued, Duncan tested positive for heartworms, but he has already finished treatment following American Heartworm Society protocols—most dogs end up testing negative within a few months. At about a year old and around 19 lbs, Duncan is a typical mixed-breed pup with a heavy dose of Chihuahua in his DNA. This small guy charms everyone with his affectionate, gentle nature. He gets along with other dogs, loves to play, and is particularly fond of squeaky toys. Duncan soaks up attention, enjoys petting, and is generally a quiet, well-behaved companion. He seems mostly house trained and manages well on a leash but would benefit from a bit more practice. Duncan does not get along with cats and is looking for a home without children under eight years old. All of his preventative care is up to date, and he’s neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza. If you’re interested in adopting Duncan, meeting him is a must before finalizing. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
