About Eliza
Eliza, affectionately known as Pup Pup, is a petite terrier mix in her golden years—just over a decade old and still full of heart. Her story started in a tough spot, making it all the more meaningful that she’s now safe and learning what it’s like to be cared for every day. When Eliza first arrived, she was in rough shape with uncomfortable skin and some old lumps that needed attention, but she’s on the mend, feeling softer and calmer as she settles in. Despite everything, Eliza hasn’t lost her gentle, affectionate spirit. She thrives in peaceful environments surrounded by patient, caring people who speak softly and appreciate the smaller, quieter moments. Eliza gets along well with dogs her size and is cat friendly—she just needs to feel safe. She isn’t looking for much: a soft spot to nap and a person who sees her for who she is. She doesn’t pretend to be perfect and doesn’t expect perfection from others. All she hopes for is a calm place where she’s cherished, whether her days stretch on or are few. If you have a soft spot for small, soulful dogs who’ve already lived through the hard stuff, she could be the one. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
