Ally
AvailableAlly is a young, medium-sized American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix with a lovely white and cream coat. She is about 2 years and 1 month old, lives in Syracuse, NY, and has been spayed. Ally is fully house trained and vaccinated, making her ready to settle into a new home.
About Ally
Ally’s world is big and bright despite being deaf—she’s bursting with playfulness, ready to chase a ball or ride with her nose out the car window taking in the air. At 1.5 years old, this 47-pound American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix has spent over a year waiting for someone who sees how eager she is to bond. She’s never happier than when she’s under the blankets, pressed up close to her people. Ally knows several hand signals and responds well to her e-collar; she’s sharp, food-motivated, and her recent Board & Train program shows she’s eager to keep learning. She truly enjoys the company of other dogs (she’s lived with three!) but gets a little excitable on first hellos; a couple of meet-and-greets usually do the trick. She likes kids too, though those with prior dog experience or who are a bit older suit her best—her enthusiasm and bouncy spirit are matched only by her deep affection. Ally is fully potty and crate trained but thrives most when her people are nearby, and a fenced yard is a must for her safety and freedom. She’s already spayed and up to date on vaccines, and she comes with training support for a smooth transition. Ally is waiting to share her adventures, snuggles, and loyalty with the right person. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Ally
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Ally, as an American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix, thrives in a home where she can get plenty of playtime and human interaction. These breeds do best in a stable environment with a secure yard and people present most of the time.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Ally would benefit from a securely fenced yard that allows her the space to run, play, and safely enjoy outdoor activities, especially since recall is challenging for her as a deaf dog.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
These breeds are often affectionate with children and, like Ally, do well in homes with dog-savvy or older kids who understand her enthusiasm and playful nature.
