About Addie

Addie is a 2–3-year-old Boxer/Lab mix with a striking red and black coat and one of those smiles you can’t resist. She’s medium energy, so you’ll get bursts of goofy play along with plenty of downtime. Mealtime is Addie’s big event—she dances, she prances, she lets you know food is the way to her heart. Addie gets along with most dogs, though sometimes plays boss, and she responds warmly to people, always in the mood for petting and affection. She hasn’t lived with kids or cats in foster care, but she should do fine with respectful children, and a slow intro with cats is best. Thunder makes her bark, otherwise she’s steady and easygoing. Loyal and full of charm, Addie is looking for somewhere she can be cherished for her sweet, silly ways. She’s currently being fostered in Texas and can hop on next week’s transport if you’re ready.
