Bubba came from a tough situation in a small underfunded North Carolina shelter. After a stint in emergency foster and then time at a board-and-train in NC, he's now ready for a permanent home. At around two years old, Bubba is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has done well with other friendly dogs, but he can’t live with cats. He knows his leash manners, is housebroken, and crate trained. He’s full of energy, thrives on activity, and would make a solid hiking buddy. Bubba’s happiest with attention—he attaches to people quickly and is always up for affection. A fenced yard, maybe a female dog companion, and someone ready to match his activity level would be a good fit for him.
