This could be the start of something paw-some. Tammy is a young, sweet, and lively girl overflowing with energy and a heart that's even bigger than her playful spirit. Like many pups her age, Tammy is still working on a few puppy habits—she might mouth, jump up in excitement, or sometimes chew on things she shouldn't (so far, she's targeted a few plants, some shoes, and of course, her toys). One of her favorite pastimes is watching the world go by from a window, quick to alert you with a bark when something catches her eye. Luckily, she's already house-trained and happily sleeps through the night. Tammy gets along well with other dogs and would flourish with a playful canine buddy. Her experience with cats is unknown. While she greets people warmly after an introduction, she might bark at unfamiliar visitors until she feels comfortable. She walks nicely on a leash and her love for treats makes her eager to come when called if a reward is on offer! Tammy absolutely loves her ball—she'll chase it, bring it back most of the time, and can even keep herself entertained with it for hours. She thrives on affection and playtime, so a home with plenty of love and attention suits her best. Since she can get a bit underfoot when excited, her ideal home would not include anyone with balance concerns. It's important to note that Tammy is a bit of an escape artist—a real "door dasher" who will dart out open doors swiftly, and she's also proven able to squeeze through small fence gaps. For her safety, a secure yard and extra care around open doors are essential, and a home without young children is highly recommended. Tammy should always be contained or supervised when doors to the outside might be open. Though she may initially be a little quiet, once Tammy feels settled, her loving, fun-loving personality blossoms. With patience and the right environment, she is sure to become a loyal, joyful member of your family. Tammy has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. She's heartworm negative, has received a ProHeart 12 injection, is on monthly flea/tick preventatives, and has recovered from a flea-related patch of missing fur on her tail.
