About Scooby

Scooby made his way from St. Croix as a puppy and found a loving home, but family allergies forced him to seek another soft spot to land. He’s a retriever and shepherd mix with soulful eyes and a gentle disposition. Scooby is already neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Housebroken and crate trained, he prefers a quiet spot on his bed and will happily let you know with a whine when he needs attention or a potty break—something his foster mom finds endearing. He can be timid when meeting new people, especially men, but with patience, Scooby warms up and becomes affectionate and snuggly. He gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t react to cats. His bark might be loud when greeting other dogs, but he means well. Scooby would thrive in a calm home with people who understand he needs time and patience to truly settle in. Those who take the time to earn his trust will have a loyal, cuddly friend for life. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
