Meet Yara! Yara is a beautiful German Shepherd who is beginning her journey toward a brighter future. She was rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team alongside nearly 100 other animals from a single home, and she’s still learning about the world. A bit more on the shy side, Yara can be unsure in new situations, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she’s already starting to come out of her shell. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home that will support her and move at her pace as she continues to build confidence. Yara is open to meeting savvy, respectful kids and other dogs who can help her feel comfortable. If you are interested in adopting, stop by our shelter any day between 12-6pm.
