Trixie is a 2-year-old, 51-pound Husky who came to us from a local rescue and is ready to find her next adventure—with the right family by her side. She’s a lovely girl who walks nicely on leash and responds when you call her name. In the play yard, Trixie is playful and polite—she may not fully grasp “fetch” yet, but she happily chases after a ball and brings herself right back to you, ready for more fun. She also has a cuddly side and enjoys spending time close to her people. Trixie seems open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and would likely do well in a home with kids. As with many Huskies, Trixie has an adventurous spirit and will need a home that prioritizes her safety and security—think secure fencing and mindful handling—to keep her safe and home where she belongs.
