About Manzo

Meet Manzo, a husky/shepherd mix originally thought to be a much younger puppy but who turned out to be closer to a year old. He came from another shelter and quickly impressed everyone with his sweet, gentle, and somewhat shy demeanor. Manzo enjoys going for walks and especially loves playing in the water—he really lights up around it. Because he can be a bit reserved and prefers a low-key environment, Manzo would likely thrive as the only dog in a home. His gentle nature has already made him a favorite among volunteers. The Sanctuary at Haafsville welcomes potential adopters every Saturday from 10-2pm to meet dogs like Manzo. Please note, adoptions happen outside those hours and applications are only accepted in person during visiting times. He’s waiting to meet someone who understands his gentle spirit.
