She’s expected to grow into an extra-large dog—likely over 100 lbs. While Alpine is a sweet puppy, she is not a fit for a first-time dog owner. Her working and livestock guardian background means she’ll need structure, clear boundaries, and an experienced handler who can give her purpose and guidance. She’s not a “babying” type of dog—she’s wired to think, work, and protect. Alpine is likely to be deeply loyal to her family and may be naturally protective of her home, so early training and socialization will be important.
