About Nachito
Meet Nachito, a beautiful soul waiting patiently for the right person to come along. Nachito joined the PAWs to Prison program a bit unsure of his place in the world, still showing the small scars of a tough beginning. In busy settings, he can be timid, shying away from crowds, but his loyalty, once earned, runs deep. You’ll find a truly special dog beneath that gentle surface—one ready to trust and thrive. As a Carolina Dog, or American Dingo, Nachito is devoted and forms meaningful connections over time. It takes him a bit to warm up, but his trust is genuine and lasting. Get him outside and you’ll see his playful, energetic side come alive—he’s athletic, quick, and loves being around other dogs. He walks well on leash, especially in wide-open spaces. Indoors, he shows off his softer side, enjoying quiet moments and soaking up affection from his person. Nachito already knows commands such as sit, lay down, wait, and heel, and he’s reliably house trained outside his kennel. He’s never shown any aggression—just a sensitive heart that’s learning security. If you can offer patience and understanding, Nachito will give you steadfast loyalty and love in return. He isn’t just looking for a place to crash—he wants to find his person. Your new best friend is just one click away.
