Ada found her way to rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her, but she's proven to be the perfect blend of Boxer playfulness and couch potato snugglebug. Enthusiastic about walks, chasing toys, and enjoying restful couch time, her energy level is just right—engaged yet not overly hyper, and she shines during both play and downtime. Ada is described as cuddly, playful, sweet, and happy-go-lucky. Her adorable "sploot" pose, velvet-soft head, and gentle treat-taking win everyone's heart. She loves nothing more than her toys, treats, mealtime, and trailing after her humans while keeping favorite toys close at hand. She knows "sit" and is learning "leave it," and is housebroken when kept on schedule. Ada is crate trained and now relaxes easily in her crate during the day. Though sometimes timid around new situations and quick movements, Ada warms up quickly with a little patience and gentle encouragement. She does well with other friendly dogs and lives happily with another calm female.
