Arlo is as sweet and loyal as they come—he’s the perfect combination of an active companion who loves playtime and an affectionate boy always ready to curl up on the couch for a cuddle. While he’s wonderful with children, it’s best that he joins a family whose kids are past the toddler stage, as he’s quite large and sometimes doesn’t realize his strength. His family has had some safety concerns with their newborn, so older children are preferred. True to his protective instincts, Arlo is very vocal and will alert you if anyone is approaching the house, making him an excellent watchdog. He gets along well with other dogs and does well with cats, though his playful nature might sometimes be a bit much for feline friends. Arlo can be timid at first, especially with new men, but give him a bit of time and he’ll soon warm up, forming a strong connection. He’s a smart pup who already knows his basic commands and is both potty trained and kennel trained. With ongoing training and consistent guidance, he will truly thrive.
