Millie was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. We know she looks grumpy in her photo. but Millie is actually a sweet & friendly little lady who is very anxious here due to the hustle & bustle of shelter life. As a senior feline, Millie would prefer a calmer environment where she can decompress & start to feel comfortable. She enjoys affection from humans and will even give you the cutest little meow to get (and keep) your attention. Millie loves to snuggle into your arms when given the chance, so we suspect she is going to be a lap cat once she is feeling safe. She will likely never be the cat who runs to the door to greet your visitors, but we believe she is going to bond strongly with her fur-ever person and fill your heart - and her own - with love.
